The focal points of every foundation procedure are the analysis of the business idea and the technology’s innovative strength, the optimization of the business plan, the coordination of the foundation process, the participation check as well as the legal and organizational structures.

The analysis of your business idea answers initial questions on the market potential and possible customer groups. Next, the team develops a business plan together with the founders with the main focus on the corporate strategy: How do I operate on the market as a start-up company? Which customer benefits does the product offer? Who assumes which management tasks? What does the market entry look like? What is the company’s targeted position in five years? Which investments are planned? The purpose of the business plan is to draw up a comprehensive outline of the planned company, for example in order to convince investors of the business idea.

The coordination of the foundation process starts with the knowledge on stable and sustainable foundation concepts. This process particularly includes the steps of participation check and contract drafting. Amongst others, the participations in the company, the distribution of future tasks as well as the form of the Fraunhofer company’s integration as technology partner are clarified. Finally, the reached decisions need to be laid down in a contract.
