The Services
Founded as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in 2002, the aim of LF CONSULT is to provide customers with innovative organization concepts and software solutions in the field of production planning and control within a short period of time. The ability to organize non-wasteful business processes that are as efficient as possible through the application of innovative software products is one of LF CONSULT's particular strengths. The company gained and systematically processed experience in the development and implementation of holistic production systems consisting of organizational concepts such as the fractal company, models such as working time models, and methods such as CIP, SMED and 5S.
The focus is on order processing procedures and the synchronization of all participating divisions within a company. The aim is to reduce processing times and stocks as well as to increase the adherence to delivery dates and the ability to deliver by means of a high flow rate.
The production system PIT®-Producing in Takt Time for the first time enables to exploit the advantages of flow-focused production also for productions with different work contents and complex material flows. The synchronization and timing of work packages across the relevant resources within the company is in the focus of takt-oriented planning. A master planning specifies milestones based on the defined timing until when the teams have to finish their sequence planning and process their jobs on their own responsibility. The organizational approach is supported by the implementation of the 3Liter-PPS®, the perfectly simple planning software, which considers capacities for planning and makes the processing statuses within the takt times transparent.
LF CONSULT provides for transparency and perfection in production by supporting the realization of an individual holistic production system.
