NDT Systems & Services AG was founded in 2000 by a group of engineers and physicists with comprehensive, long-term experience with automated inspection systems for the steel and pipeline industry. One particular focus is on the development and application of state-of-the-art ultrasound technologies. Today, the company can rely on the technical know-how and creativity of its employees to provide its customers from the oil and gas, steel, railway, and automotive industries around the world with products and special services for non-destructive testing.

Products and Technology

LineExplorer UM - This configuration is used for testing pipelines for loss of material, in particular for quantitative wall thickness measurement.

One of the major products is an ultrasound-based inspection system for online and offline inspection of heavy sheet metal - upon request also with automated assessment procedures to a wide range of international delivery standards.

Furthermore, NDT Systems provides pipe inspection systems for volume, weld, and pipe end inspections according to customer requirements. NDT Systems also offers automated inspection systems for the wheel and axle inspection of railway cars and power cars.

Further important products include online inspection systems for hot and cold-rolled strips using EMAT technology. EMAT technology is a particular type of ultrasound inspection that does not require a liquid couplant. Other technologies supplied by NDT Systems furthermore cover automated systems for the inspection of tailored blanks laser welds used in the automotive industry.

Each facility of the product range is tailored to each customer's individual needs and requirements. The services of NDT Systems include the entire installation process of the inspection facility, detailed documentation, personnel training as well as full after-sales support such as the system's maintenance.
