The Company

vis-à-pix GmbH

VISAPIX GmbH was founded as a spin-off of the Berlin-based Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications (Heinrich-Hertz-Institute) and the Free University Berlin on September 17, 2004. The founders' aim was to implement the long-time research experience and the know-how in 3D video analysis into software solutions that meet the demands of relevant markets and customers.

VISAPIX helps its retail customers to manage their processes and measures throughout their branches - also within large international branch structures. The intelligent 3D video analysis solutions of the innovation leader provide numerical reports to retailers including information about customer behavior, customer flow, and customer frequency determined by people counting. This enables a systematic and permanent increase of efficiency of operational sequences as well as higher sales on sales areas and in-store TV applications. Solutions

Shop Efficiency Analytics

Today, many retailers analyze their enterprise resource planning information. VISAPIX solutions support this kind of data mining. Which age groups do the customers belong to, how do they split across the genders? Which areas are highly frequented, where are hot spots? Where do visitors have to wait for how long? For maximizing productivity, it is essential to consistently consider this information for operational business.

Integrated Solutions

The VISAPIX Retail Efficiency Solutions based on 3D video analysis enable retailers to achieve highest productivity and maximum profit. VISAPIX supports its customers with managing and improving their entire corporate performance. And this is how VISAPIX solutions help to increase turnover.

VISAPIX provides the results of measurements or analyses in clear and comprehensible graphics or tables. The customer flow is visualized based on clear heat images or tables. The user determines the depth of detail. Analysis may be carried out for all cameras in the network or only for a selected choice. If data is also to be integrated into internal systems, an interface is provided for linking the results with the client's databases.
