Markus Weitzel

Markus Weitzel joined Fraunhofer Venture as an investment manager in September 2013. After working in the field of business consulting, he founded baimos technologies GmbH in 2006 (currently BlueID GmbH), the company behind the much acclaimed BlueID technology – a security software for smartphones and smart watches. His responsibilities as commercial managing director at baimos technologies GbmH included finance, controlling, marketing and sales. Mr. Weitzel studied technology- & management-oriented business administration (TUM-BWL) with a minor in computer science at the TU Munich and was one of the first participants in the Manage&More entrepreneur grant program at UnternehmerTUM, the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at TUM.
