Accelerating DeepTech collaboration

"Accelerating DeepTech collaboration!" Fraunhofer Venture organized the CoInnovation Day 2019 in Berlin under this motto on the November 28.

Around one hundred and fifty participants, including start-ups, scientists, investors and entrepreneurs, came together at the event. They all had the same goal: to use the CoInnovation Day as a platform to promote cooperation and pilot projects in the high-tech start-up ecosystem.

The program included fascinating keynotes, roundtable discussions, insight presentations and a panel discussion on CoInnovation. Robert Bosch, Philips HealthWorks, PwC, Codecentric, High-Tech Gründerfonds and many more took part and made the program both diversified and exciting.

In addition, 14 startups and 11 different Fraunhofer Institutes exhibited innovative technologies and cooperation projects in the fields of Industry 4.0, MedTech and AgriFood on the Technology Marketplace at Spreespeicher. Here, the participants not only had the opportunity to go from booth to booth and take a look behind the scenes of Fraunhofer, but also to expand their network with valuable contacts during the 1:1 matching making and roundtable sessions.

In the evening, a high-class pitch competition took place, from which the startups Othermo, Oculavis and SmartCloud Farming emerged as winners and received great prizes from PwC, Codecentric and High-Tech Gründerfonds.

Together with the partners listed below, we were able to make CoInnovation Day a successful event, which has opened the door to future cooperation for many participants.
